The Sonoma-Cutrer Chardonnay has a rich texture, a lovely mid-palate creamy richness, and a bright acidity that leads to a finish with a long richness of flavor. There are complex distinctive and very pleasant smells that consist of caramel, roasted nuts, honey, fresh Bosc pear, ripe peach, nectarine, and honeydew melon. These wonderful smells are accented with nougat, brown sugar, baking spice, and red apple. The flavors of peach, apple, and creme brulee mix together with a small amount of butterscotch, apple, pie crust just out of the oven, and baked apples with just a taste of light vanilla and oak spice. There are many wonderful different types of cuisine that pair well with this Chardonnay. Many different types of cuisine from appetizers to desserts pair well with Chardonnay. If you want to serve a cheese, serve Provolone, Gruyere, or Mild Cheddar cheese. When it comes to an appetizer, serve crab cakes, olives, oysters, stuffed clams, and smoked salmon. For those of you that desire a main dish, serve chicken, pork, or shrimp with cream sauce and Caribbean cuisine. At the end of the meal, finish it with these fruits: mango, pineapple, and honeydew. These cuisine items will help you complete your meal with Chardonnay from beginning to end.

Aromas of nectarine, stone fruit, white peach and oak spice are accented with hints of vanilla, toasted nuts and a touch of butterscotch and light caramel with a subtle cinnamon spice undertone. This wine has the distinctive Sonoma-Cutrer balance between elegance and richness for a medium-bodied, mouth-filling wine. The creamy texture of this wine offers flavors of ripe pear and peach that is balanced with a nice, bright acidity. There is lots of finesse’ to the long, silky finish highlighted with long barrel spice notes.
