Cakebread Cellars Pinot Noir is fermented in stainless steel tanks and then is transferred to French Oak barrels where it ages for ten months. This wine is very fragrant with aromas of roses, raspberries, strawberries, red cherries, and plums. On the palate, the wines tastes of darker fruits like plum, blackberry, black cherry, and spice. It is rich with velvety tannins but is very elegant in texture.
You can cook salmon, tuna, meaty white fishes, lean red meats, duck, turkey, and fresh herbs like rosemary and thyme. It is also a good addition to Thanksgiving dinner.
