Rodney Strong Sonoma County Chardonnay is fermented in a barrel in new and seasoned French oak with toasty vanilla and spice complexities. It is fermented in a barrel for a year and, during that time, the winemakers stirred the lees in the barrel. The addition of the lees to the barrel gives the wine an elegant fullness and creamy texture on the palate. This wine also has a creamy and crisp to it and the flavors of golden delicious apples, Meyer lemon, and baking spices with a hint of minerality on the finish.
