Popping The Cork on Cabernet Sauvignon and Pairing Foods With it! - TBWS

Cabernet Sauvignon is well-known around the world and is well-loved by people that love wine. From cheeses to desserts, there are a lot of good foods to pair with this wine. Some cheeses, side dishes, and fruits go very well with this wine.

Cheeses like Gorgonzola, Gouda, Cheddar, Vella Jack, mild blue cheeses, and aged cheeses make this wine come alive and also pair well when melted over a grilled beef burger. Vegetables are excellent side dishes that can go along with this wine and fish or meat. The vegetables that go along well with this wine are roasted Brussel sprouts, broccoli rabe, grilled radicchio, kale, and spinach. Fruits such as plums and black cherries go well together with this wine. If you are looking for the main course to eat with this wine, there are some that will pair well with it.

Swordfish and tuna are the best meats to eat when you drink Cabernet Sauvignon. Along with swordfish and tuna, this wine can also be served with braised meat dishes, rib eye steaks, beef short ribs, hamburger, beef stew, rack of lamb, butterflied leg of lamb, and portabello mushrooms. There are also some desserts that pair well with this wine.

Desserts like dark chocolate cake, coffee ice cream, berries in dark chocolate sauce pair well with this wine. Other desserts that go well with this dessert are dark chocolate chip, almond, walnut, or vanilla cookies and blackberry, boysenberry, and raspberry pies. Since this wine tastes great with all kinds of dishes, your guests will probably never guess that you served the same wine meal all the way throughout a meal (if you choose to do). They will just be amazed at how well you combine a wine with all the courses of a meal.
